Giving Back
At Avallo we really believe in giving back to our community. We work with non-profits at half our normal rate and donate our time to many organizations.
The owner, Julie, serves on the OMGBA board as the marketing volunteer and the organizer of its apparel fundraising. Osseo Maple Grove Basketball Association serves over 2000 kids from 1st grade to 12th grade in the Osseo/Maple Grove school area.
Julie is also a Girl Scout co-leader to 6th graders who have been together since Kindergarten and she has also been a Cub Scout leader and web master.
She also is the website and marketing volunteer for the new Maple Grove Art Center and History Museum. Julie helped to create and promote the first art show called the Red Show in February 2009 and it was a big success. Art classes for kids and adults are held there as well. Avallo created the website.
Avallo also is the web master for Camp Get-A-Wella which provides a realistic camp experience for sick children in the hospital.
We've created HTML newsletter templates for Homeless Youth and Hope Chest for Breast Cancer. We also built a website for Minnesota Valley Trust - an organization that works exclusively with landowners who wish to sell or donate their land to become part of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge.
Our love of animals shows through with the MUSHR calendar. MUSHR is a Minnesota non-proft that rescues unwanted Siberian Huskies and other dogs. They have placed many dogs into happy families.
We are honored to work with all of these non-profits and associations. We look forward to creating more marketing materials to build awareness, create change, and spread goodwill to the community.
