At Avallo we really believe in giving back to our community of Maple Grove and the Twin Cities area. We love to work with non-profits and donate our time to many organizations.
The owner, Julie, serves as the Past President on the OMGBA board and is on the building committee. We raised one million dollars in 10 years and just completed our work with the city and school district to build an OMGBA and Community Gym at Maple Grove Junior High. Osseo Maple Grove Basketball Association serves over 2000 kids from 1st grade to 12th grade in the Osseo/Maple Grove school area. She also served on the Maple Grove High School Girls Basketball booster club and Maple Grove Girls Soccer boosters.
Julie was also a Girl Scout co-leader to 12th graders who have been together since Kindergarten and she has also been a Cub Scout leader and web master.
Julie has worked with Crescent Cove for 4 years to help with their Gala event and their mission of opening a children's hospice center. And I am happy to announce the new center will open in October of 2017 in Brooklyn Center, MN. We are also in the process of donating a new website.
She serves on The Executive Board for the Maple Grove Arts Center. Julie helped to create and promote the first art show called the Red Show in February 2009 and it was a big success. Art classes for kids and adults are held there as well. Avallo created and helps maintain their website.
Avallo has created new websites for non-profit organizations like Pathways Minneapolis, Headway Emotional Health Services, Pause 4 Paws and Hope 4 Youth. We developed their websites in Avallo Panel, allowing their volunteers and staff to update events, information, sponsor pages, and other information themselves, saving time and money that could be used elsewhere.
We've created HTML newsletter templates for Homeless Youth and Hope Chest for Breast Cancer. We also built a website for Minnesota Valley Trust - an organization that works exclusively with landowners who wish to sell or donate their land to become part of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge.
We are honored to work with all of these non-profits and associations. We look forward to creating more marketing materials to build awareness, create change, and spread goodwill to the community.
